02|Jan|2010 1I bought this cover after already ordering another cover from Amazon. Nice access to buttons and looks are alright. I would say it looks spectacular but tames down the chrome of the touch. Worth the price for the protection of an ipod investment.

03|Jan|2010 2I just purchased the case for my iPod Touch 3rd Gen, and have had no problems with the bottom sliding off - it is snug, yet slides off easily so I can dock it as needed. I like the size of it, and it offers a lot more protection around the corners than most other Touch cases - yet the controls are still easily accessible. I also tested the wireless connectivity issues listed in a previous review. We have Wi-Fi at our company, but it is at the opposite end of the building from where I sit. So, even without the case, I had to step into the hall outside my office to get the signal. With the case on, I get the same coverage at the same place in the building that I always have. So, I am quite pleased with this case.

03|Jan|2010 3This is a great case, very thin, bottom section removes easily for docking without removing the whole case. Comes with a protective film, which I managed to botch up, now I have air bubbles all over the top portion, but that’s probably my fault.

03|Jan|2010 4This case does not “snap together” as the instructions indicate. The bottom of the case slides easily off my ipod when I pull it from my bag or when slightly disturbed, providing no protection at all. A friend suggested that I tape the two pieces together to keep them from separating from my ipod, but wouldn’t that defeat the point of my I paid $15 for this thing anyways.

03|Jan|2010 5After receiving this product I want to clarify a few things I don’t remember reading in previous reviews…
1)There is a spot for the ipod charger/data cable to go through. This would also work with other dock connection cables like an FM transmitter without removing the bottom piece of the case. I can also connect L shaped headphone jacks through the headphone hole in the case with no problems.
2)The instructions state that the 2 pieces will “snap” together. They do not snap together but they do fit together snugly enough that the bottom piece will not fall off due to gravity. However when I put it in a leather holster and pulled it out the bottom was left in the holster.
3)If you get the screen protector on ok the first time, DO NOT try to adjust it. Mine just slightly off center so I took it off and tried to re-apply, and it was all down hill from there. Both the protector and the ipod were brand new, just out of the box, and after a couple times trying the screen protector was covered in dust. The static cling side does not wipe off easily with the provided lint cloth. I would advise that you only get one shot at this. I am in the process of rinsing with water but it appears to be leaving water marks. It’s a good screen protector if you line it up right; it’s not that flimsy and I had no bubbles the first time.
