   This cable causes the IPod Video 5G to crash and reset as soon as the video starts to play. The cable does not have a USB connector as indicated by the photo. This device deserves a zero star rating.

   Fast shipping, nicely packed. But when I plugged it to my iPhone 3G, it stated that it was not compatible.

   I’ve read that it doesn’t work on iPhone 3.0
   
   Oh well.

   I’ll keep it anyway…just in case Apple decides to unlock the 3rd-party cables to work on iPhone 3.0
   
   If not, I can give it to my sister who has an iTouch 2nd gen that is not updated to 3.0

   This is great! I have a 4th Gen nano and now I can watch them on my analog TV. Works wonderful.. Highly recommended.

   The cable shipped isn’t the one in the photo! The breakout cable shown included a USB which is needed for power when using the adapter. The one shipped did NOT include a USB. However, it looks like the seller is VERY responsive and is shipping out the correct cable.
